The principles of sports medicine, initially developed for the competitive athlete, apply to all injuries whether they occur in the recreational environment, work place or at home. Nashville Hip Institute at TOA provides treatment for worker’s compensation injuries to the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee.
If your orthopaedic injury is due to an accident in the work place, please be sure to contact your employer and inform them of your injury. Appointments must be scheduled by the employer or representative of the workers’ compensation provider. Our office will need to receive authorization from your employer before we can process any medical claims. Failure to properly report your work injury to your employer may result in your claims being denied. Denied claims will be your responsibility.
For worker’s compensation inquiries, please call our office at (615) 284-5800.
